Captains log, the Atlatic ocean, March 18th 1916

The sea is wild today. It's the spring storms that are raging her. Will tryto head for the south pole after next harbour. I have to get some tobacco,and proper food. Can't stand the dry fish I've been living on for the pastthree weeks since I last was standing on solid ground.
